Three-layered woodblock print on Zerkall off-white smooth paper (145gsm). Hemlock design printed in greyscale on beautiful German paper stock with a 'waterleaf' feel.
 
Each layer has been intricately hand-carved by us in the studio, inspired by traditional Japanese printmaking methods. Each layer of the design is printed separately over several days and intentionally misregistered; no two prints will be the same. Inspiration for this design was taken from Hemlock, a poison that elicits blurred vision and vertigo. 
 
For us, the making of these prints has been about the beauty of process; taking the time to learn and respect a technique.
